OBJECTIVE:
Help Jimmy Dean own the morning with their breakfast sausages.

SOLUTION:

Escalate created the Jimmy Dean “Happy Breakfast, America” tour. Stopping everywhere from community festivals with a large footprint to smaller events at local firehouses and construction areas, we gave local community members from across the nation the opportunity to honor friends, family or loved ones who had positively impacted or improved their life or the lives of others.

Those who chose to honor someone made a one minute video testimonial at the “Happy Breakfast, America” tour regarding why their special someone deserved to win. One video entry from each stop of the tour was chosen as a winner; the winning nominator and nominee received free breakfast foods from Jimmy Dean and were entered into a contest against other “Happy Breakfast, America” tour winners for a chance to win $10,000.

In addition, throughout the “Happy Breakfast, America” tour, Jimmy Dean partnered with America’s Second Harvest, the nation’s food bank network and largest charitable hunger-relief organization, to help provide important meals like breakfast to children and their families. For every person who enjoyed a Happy Breakfast at the “Happy Breakfast, America” tour, $1 was donated to local food banks and/or food rescue organizations through America’s Second Harvest’s certified member network.

RESULTS:

350,000 consumers hosted.
Purchase intent +82%.
Awareness +52%.
64% increase in recommendation intent.
2,100 loved ones nominated to receive a year of Jimmy Dean breakfasts.
180,000 consumers visited program web site post-event.
1,560 entered the Jimmy Dean sweepstakes – a trip for 4 to the NYC Macy’s Day Parade.
